That could be a consequence of the d/u dust released from shells on impact

Probably seemed like a good idea - nice solid chunk of metal - what dust?

I remembered they'd lost some in the Stansted 747 crash. Did they ever find it I wonder?

Although there has been no GWII Syndrome, and the main difference appears to have been that the servicemen did not receive the 'cocktail' of drugs/injections this time around - see, listening to Radio 4 is good for something!!
