2D or not 2D that is the question..

I know on some panels you can bring up the gauges by pressing shift + (one of the number keys 1-9), it depends on the panel but this method creates a seperate window (like having the GPS window open) so you can use VC and see the gauges clearer. Not sure if it effects frame rates though and its only on some panels that this is available. I suppose its down to the designer of the panel.

2d for me at the moment. I like having it simple and easy to make out the instrument panel readings. The VC is nice and I use it now and again when I'm in cruise mode but I always go to 2d panel when I have to make any kind of maneouvre. But that may start to change due to two facts....Rick's Budgie and DM's 1-11. What more can I say

When using VC, Active Camera is a good little addon. When making turns it turns the pilots head slightly in the direction of the turn. It also provides the bumps when on the runway and taxiway.

I think a lot of this is from small monitors and graphic issues!!
I have no trouble reading the gauges in VC!!
Here is a full size screen shot, I had to compress it just a bit
to upload it, so it lost just a little quality!!
I have a 19" wide screen, it runs at 1440X900

Hi Kimber
I have 19 inch 1280x1024
I find 3d hard to read but whtever the settings it is always harder than 2D
But perhaps on those smaller aeroplanes it is easier to read as it is only a small panel filling the screen unlike something like the Trident.
