I think it's disgusting the way that some people treat equipment which we pay for as tax payers!!!
Putting that equipment through all those uneccessary stresses, just to show off. Think of all the extra maintenance which is needed to cope with the extra wear and tear.
It should be stopped. Immediately.

But it's a Boeing so it's needs lot's of maintenance anyway.
And it has to be thrown arround as it can't be used to demostate ellegance.

I think chinooks should have big posters inside the cockpit that read 'This is not an F-16', as the pilots seem to forget these basic things.

Yes indeed... and software that knows what flight level your at helps, you'd never get me up in a chinook :tuttut:

Every time I see a pic of that Chinook, it always has itself placed in some awkward situation.....why on earth would anyone use such an unstable aircraft
There must be several other types of "choppers" to pick from...
