I've emailed the BBC telling them to change the headline.

It indicates both a crash and a crash at London City Airport as it uses the headline "Crash closes City Airport".

It wasn't a crash, it was an accident. They made a complete balls up of the Monarch story the other day as well (as did Sky News) :roll:

Well they say 757, but it's a picture of an A300.

Yep, and it took them several hours to change it to 757 from 747 :doh:

When I looked the picture was definatly a 737, looks more like a 400 than a 300 since it has CFM56 engines on it.

All 737s since the -300 have the CFM56 engines :think:
The 737NG has a newer variant of the CFM56 with a less pronounced "flat" at the bottom of the intake.
