Two things:

1: Is anybody here into R/C? Somebody who I can have a chat to about R/C beginner aircraft...

2: Who can I talk to about information on beginning the long hard road to becomming a fully fledged pilot!? Qualifications, PPL's, Costs and all the rest of it.
Ive spent some time looking, but I figured information from the guys in the cockpit would be best!

Tom,

I'm pretty sure Bridon_Bear has his R/C ppl (at least that's what he was aiming for) so when he pop's up, I'm certain he'll give you all the info you need :wink:

Worth downloading and reading CAP 658 from the CAA first off:

And then I'd head over to the British Model Flying Association, who provide (or did?) insurance and a list of approved flying clubs:
