The reason I thought you meant the Morane was less original was this:
"The Morane was found in a poorer state but equal TLC has been shown to bring her to the state you see above."
It is a Swiss one, though. It flew in Swiss markings until a couple of years ago, and yes, the design was modified by the Swiss.
