I've been reacquainting myself with the Viscount again today and thought.. what a lovely model it is, despite it's age Garry has a zillion paints available for it and Fraser's v2 panel pull's the package back to current standards. The 'Wash and Go' brigade may not like it too much as you have to 'work' a little to stop it falling from the sky (or even start it if you're thinking of flying it in the VA) but.. for those who haven't dabbled thus far, you're missing out

In any case, think I will re-download and get re-aquainted myself.
Yes its Rick's baby. The doors and steps activate after engine shutdown. Gorgeous eh?!
I suffer from paranoid amnesia. I can't remember who I don't trust.
The wings and nacelles are dark on this paint (and you should know) so if they shouldn't look like that I'm stumped matey  The dark grey wings have reg letters on and the nacelles are the same colour so I presume it's all there!
I like it anyway
Wish I'd have had my screensshot software open for the flight
Pooper-dooper-scooper  Mine certainly doesn't look like that Jim-Bob  Let me go and have a look.... Yup!! Reflections were turned off. I now have some sooooper shiney wing's and nacelle's.. perhaps a little to shiney
I generally leave aircraft reflections turned off as I don't think it suits all paints but the downside is, your shiney Viscount wings/nacelles were slate grey  Don't ya hate it when that happens!! :-$ Oh bugger  Looks like I'm going to have to be selective which is a bit of a pain in the butt. Mark Beaumont's fab AKIF (current paint) looks like it's been out in the Nevada desert for the last 60years with reflections on and with it off, returns to it's classic royal blue.
