John,

I've been wondering about buying this book but Mr Hill's One-Eleven book was so shite it put me off buying another one of his efforts until I had seen it.

Hi Paul,

I'm not unhappy with my purchase. I'm not sure where you could view it before buying but it's not that expensive ordering from WHSmiths. I ordered mine online and arranged for a store pickup and saved the p&p.

Thanks for the info John. The One Eleven book was more of a potted history of the UK airlines that operated the a/c rather than a book aout it.

Hi Paul,

To be honest, there is a lot of airline history within the pages but I suppose the two go hand in hand as the airlines to a certain extent dictated some of the specification requirements. If you were to take out the airline info and concentrate on how each model differed from the previous it would have many fewer pages but you would wonder why there were slight variations between each.

Once again thanks. Have you got the VC10 book in the same Crowood series? That is the standard I expect a book about an a/c model to be.

Alas no, maybe at a future date.
