It's an alpha transparency, and no I wan't going to make a guard but you did make me think. So I will make this one selectable like the Gnats slipper tanks.

How's the 2D panel coming on Brian?? I can't get to grips with the VC (nice as it is) as I find I have to zoom out too far to see it giving a goldfish bowl effect  I can make a hash of landing a helo with little provocation as it is!!

I met up with Brian just over a week ago and we agreed that I would produce the gauges for him. One of my colleagues is an ex-Wessex captain and is going to let me borrow his Aircrew manuals. Hopefully will have a fully working set of gauges and instruments by the end of September - not sure which variants yet as it depends on the resources I can get.
I think the problem with the wessex VC viewpoint is a hard one to fix.
the real wessex has the seats so close to the panel that the model will always look like a goldfish bowl once you have the zoom to a level where you can see enough of the panel (not sure if that makes sense?).
Although it may be able to be tweaked with a lower eyepoint.
Was given copies of the HC2 aircrew manuals today so will now be able to crack on with the 2D panel. Because the pilots seats are right up against the bulkhead and there is no access to the cockpit from the passenger/cargo cabin, cockpit photos are almost non-existent! Does anyone have a decent cockpit photo to save me the bother of drawing one?? (I've looked at Airliners.net and there's nothing much there)
