DH Mosquito

Post by ColoKent »

Gents,

I am going nuts for a decent Mossie. I have looked at the Just Flight Lancaster package, but since I could care less about Lancs, it seems like $45 US is too much to pay for one versioin of the Mosquito (I am particularly fond of the PR versions....and this certainly isn't one of those). I also find it wierd that no one seems to have done any skins for the Just Flight Mosquito.

Does anyone know if someone is working on either a freeware or payware Mosquito? Just wondered.

Hi Kent,

I too am craving a nice Mossie, I seem to remember Simshed had one in the works
I was tempted to purchase the JF pack, but I think the Lancs that have been built by the folks on here are superb, so purchasing a lanc set for a mossie only didnt seem worth the ££ saying that going by the trend of Aeroplane Heaven, they may realease a Mossie pack /packs down the line.

Hi,

I use two different ones, bsk_mosquito_for_fs2004.zip (an NFII) and another called MOMBVI.zip (a BVI) in "Grim Reaper" livery.

I prefer the NFII and use the BVI as AI. The FD files are not very good and I've tweaked the NFII considerably. The NF II also seems to create memory leak CTD if you load a flight with the aircraft in place, however for me it's the best one available at present.
Regards,

Degsy

Probably because the fuselage textures don't line up...

Is anyone working on one..?

As DaveG said...you never know.......
