Plama de Mallorca
Okay, here's a good question.
I'd read somewhere about a good Palma de Mallorca scenery being released a while ago and that it was payware. I have not been able to locate it now that I'm looking at buying it since the only freeware one looks fine at night but during the day, I'm wondering what I'm looking at. Nothing against the designer, but he built it in 2001, so it's reflective of what we could do with FS2000, and I'm looking for something better having been spoiled by Garry Summon's UK2000 scenery.

Hi Chris,
I've no actual experience of this particular scenery but there is a payware version over at Simmarket.. http://secure.simmarket.com/default.php ... 1_22_83_94
Simmarket don't normally sell rubbish but as with most things, some items are not as good as others. It's worth a look though and fits what you're looking for
There are 3 scenery's there I think.. the first one being for FS2002 but the others are for FS9.

Hi Dan,
That 'CanarySim' scenery does look very nice but you're a few hundred miles off course :tuttut: - should I be worried  whilst you are in a 'Company' VC10 ?
Hi Chris,
If it's the freeware scenery that I've seen on Avsim, it looks like there's been a few texture updates by some folk that might improve it. Search for the author "Oliver Pabst" and you should find the updates.

John - Yes, it's the Pabst scenery, but the textures aren't the only problem. I have the texture updates installed and it's more the way the scenery is built than anything that makes it look off. Not only that, but the animated gates don't work in FS2004, so it's kinda odd to try and park without the jetway, defeats the purpose.
Anyway, thanks for the heads up Dave, I'll go take a look at it.
