Sadly its not up to the standard other classic brits available here or other helicopter addons. A VC is a must have for a helicopter, for me anyway. :sad:Motormouse wrote:There's one by J R Lucarinyjamesstables wrote:Whirlwind (helicopter)

Well I have seen the embryonic Frightner and NO its not Ricks
The Britannia is being considered as a future work
and the York is being done by the same team that gave you the Pembroke
I would prefer NOT to mention the author of the first two but I can tell you
that he WILL produce the highest quality products - well researched and
well made.
The last is the Belfast which I know was being considered by one of the worthys here and again I have seen some very nice embryonic work
and again without naming names (again not Rick or DM) If and when
its completed it will be a thing of beauty (is that a contradication in terms
for the Belfast???)
Personally I think alot of modelers are waiting to see how the whole FSux
thing shakes out before continuing
DaveB - Id have figured you for a Sea Vixen/Scimitar/Seahawk sort of guy
BTW didja tape the Vanguard runup????

Yo Leif!
I have the payware Alpha SeaVixen and am reasonably happy with it since a good friend tweaked it to fly a little better. In all honesty, I rarely fly it or anything similar as I'm constantly fighting for disc space on my FS drive so what doesn't get flown gets hangared elsewhere
Funny you mention the ground run. I was only thinking a few moments ago that this time last week, I was sat up front and having a much better time than I am now. Yep.. I did get it filmed (straight onto DVD don't you know!) but have yet to fiddle. Once I've found enough space move the files around.. I'll have a fiddle and post a short clip

Old sailors never die.. they just smell that way!
I think my wish list would be as follows:-
Bristol Britannia Flew to Aden in one
HS Andover Had a memorable flight from Changi to RAAF Butterworth in 1967
An RAF Passenger Config repaint of a VC10 same reasons as above. (Flew Brize to Changi)
Other wish list stuff:-
Short Sealand
Fairey Firefly V
Vickers Vildebeest
Armstrong Whitworth Siskin IIIA
Argosy C.MkI
Reid and Sigrist Snargasher
Ooops 'edit' an Avro Lancastrian and York for FS9 would be nice too
Regards
Sean

I will wait with baited breath - been a long time since I stood on the ramp
at Lutfield with an Invicta Guardsvan deafening me - and I rode on the jumpseat of either OO or OP twice and the sound from the bridge was
so nice (funny the Vanguard and the Electra have always struck me as being misnamed because they were so damn big compared to other cockpits I was accustomed too)
Thanks for thinking of us Dave - Im curious could you lift the audio portion from the file?

I'm really into little aircraft at the moment, so i'd have to make my list as:
GroB G.115E (Tutor) + VC, sounds, panel, mayonnaise & relish etc...
Slingsby Firefly... with a side order of VC, sounds, panel..yada yada yada..
I must say though, I do agree with the guys about the old Buccaneer, it really is an amazing aircraft, plus, I know someone who used to fly them :-$
I must also say though, any freeware complete GA packages would be lovelly at the moment, so, if anyone has any recommendations please share

Patience will bring much joy to this one....Tomliner wrote:Piston provost or Hastings or perhaps the Lockheed Starliner.
There's a very beautiful Starliner that will be coming down the pipeline in the next year or two. Dunno if it's going to be in FS9 or FSX as it's not in production yet, but the FSDzigns crew is planning all Connie versions, including the Starliner and even the Navy's Turboprop Starliner.
