Looks interesting, almost makes me want to take up the plastic again!

Is it just me, or does that company name sound a little dubious?

Perhaps it's made of some sort of rubber

Might even be a switch somewhere

Hi Toby

First one in a modern standard scale;

I've never seen the Sebel

Lincoln/Kader 701 a 120 scale was very crude

The Hawk/Glencoe is very good and can still be got. It's 96 scale

The FROG Viscount also to 96 is an 800 and is quite crude as is the Faller 810 which is 100 scale.

This looks promising

Dunno Toby

We'll have to check how many "X's" on the box

Strange livery for a release model somthing like BEA would be far more apropriate.

Also rather odd that they picked the 800 as sales of new aircraft were not made to very many customers..six I think

But there would be many liverie for later operators of the used aircraft notably BAF

Might be an interesting start to a nice little set.

Not injection-moulded, I know, but Welsh Models do a vacform 1/144th Viscount 800, and their V.700 might also still be available.

They do a nice range of post-war British transport aircraft in that scale, including Viking, Britannia, Twin Pioneer, Beverley, Bristol 170, HS748, Comet 1, Herald, etc. Those I have tried make up well.

Most are listed in the Hannant's catalogue referenced above.

Cheers,

Kevin
