Well i was lead on a wild goose chase! Ive asked a for a refund now and am going to take the money elsewhere!

All the best Chris, I hope you get this resolved. My mate has a desktop from PC Specialists and couldn't be happier, so I would think you'll be okay getting a lappy from them. At the very least you'll get decent customer support if it goes pear-shaped.

I still hold out hope that the current economic crisis will finally do PC World in. They really are a bunch of arse.

Yeah im looking at them just because they do laptops without an O/S, where as Dell dont do that... Well they have lost my custom and the £11.99 support i paid each month on my old PC...

Just thought id let you know that i went to Sony and got a VAIO laptop with blueray for £765! Was ment to be £799 in shop! And PC World have given me a refund finally!
