From personal experience on the jumpseat, going from 26 flap to 45 flap caused a very noticeable nosedown pitch change and deceleration, the overall effect was like the airtcraft had run into a brick wall.
Big handful of power needed to compensate...

I've heard that on YT vids with Concordes and VC 10 take off
Presumably the Vulcan sets off a few at times
