  Funny you should say that Joe but it does.

The Ghost has a mournful whine especially on lower settings and I've often wondered if that was a coincidence or the reason it was so named. *-)

I'm sure there will be someone here who knows :)

Jens,

I noticed a texture issue - I am using the FS2004 version, and the Canadian Pacific model has a French registration number on the underside of the port wing.

Otherwise, thanks for the update, I'm thoroughly enjoying flying your Comet 1! Being Canadian, I favour the RCAF and Canadian Pacific liveries.

Regards,

Jim

Yeah, thanks, Jens - I got the two soundsets now - both good (one for the 1 and another for the 2).

I gave the new 1 a test flight last night, flying by the guide in the kneeboard.

I took off under the recommended conditions, but iirc I have to wait until it reaches 180kias before retracting the flaps. Well, whatever speed it is, I was about 20 knots short of it. I kept flying level and the rpm at the specified level, think it was 9,750, but the speed just didn't increase - it was well wierd!

In the end I retracted the flaps at 160 - but even then it took a while for the speed to go up.

I found myself wondering if that was why it got ditched!

A mistake, of course. Just wait for version 3... ;)
