Well, I am able to use ctrl-enter to move back a good ways behind the flight deck and then turn and see them behind me. But I certainly don't see them looking out the left hand side window from the flight deck.DaveB wrote:821.. when you say you don't see the wings, do you mean you can't see the wingtips from the flightdeck? DM didn't make a full VC cabin (at least I don't think he did,, again, I never venture that far back) so you won't be able to look out of one of the windows from a pax seat and see them but you should be able to see the wingtips from the flightdeck![]()

Thanks!
Yes, the wings are set back from the cockpit slightly, one either side in the traditional manner.Well, I am able to use ctrl-enter to move back a good ways behind the flight deck and then turn and see them behind me. Ha, no offense taken. I like window or wing views because after a nice, smooth flight and greasing the landing, I like to replay the landing from spot view, tower view, and a passenger view. I enjoy seeing it happen much like it does in real life, as the power gets cut and the aircraft settles down and then the crew hits the reversers. I get to think "wow, that pilot really made a nice landing there", and I know that I was the pilot!!DaveB wrote:![]()

This is what is commonly called 'progress' David. Spend many a long hour making sure the flightdeck is bang on when in reality, you should have made sure folk can look out at the wings instead. I thought the whole idea of VC's (FS in general) was that you made the environment as accurate as possible within the confines of the sim. I've never bought FS with the intention of being a passenger![]()
Sri 821.. this isn't a dig at you. More an obituary of what the sim has become![]()
