Sorry but you are wrong Joe, short wave radio stations are absolutely controlled at the broadcast stations by manipulative governments and by over-reaching religious organizations spreading lies and misinformation about their particular flavour of make believe super hero!
Ever heard the term 'propaganda' before? It used to be the big proponents were 'Radio Moscow' and 'Voice of America' and they could be heard 24/7 on all the bands spouting their particular brands of lies and rhetoric. Nowadays, as you point out, it's mostly religious missions trying to brainwash innocent minds into believing that their particular fairy story is the only way to go and by the way please send us half of your annual income so that we can live in luxury and keep spreading the lies!
