Superb pictures Kevin! I have just popped out in the garden and the cloud has cleared so I have thankfully seen it but not before walking into the wheelie bin as I was looking up. :curse:

I think I should have just resized mine like Kevin did, just cropping them doesn't half show up the blur...

Hi Otter,
There is nothing wrong with your shots. I copied one onto my PC and opened it with my Nikon editing software.
I can see from this, that you are using a Canon 350D (an excellent DSLR).
In this case, you should have some Canon editing software. Open you pics with this and increase the 'Sharpening'. This can make a huge reduction to the 'blurriness'.
Also, I prefer to shoot 'RAW' rather than 'JPEG' and let the computer, not the camera do the processing.
Hope this is of use.
Regards
Kevin

Cheers Kevin.
I'm still learning everytime I switch it on but i'm very happy with it so far.
Shame the 400D came out about a week after I brought my 350... Typical.

I wouldnt worry - I dont think the 400D really has enough extra over the 350D to warrant buying it. I got my 350D back in October and both were on sale and I chose the 350D on balance because I didnt think the 400 justified its higher price!

Rob,
The Nikon D80 came out just after I bought my D70s. But I couldn't justify the extra cost anyway.
