Thanks to Jan and his team (and some chums here who helped me over my Avsim problem) I now have flown this wonderful creation! If FS9 was as good as this all the time, nobody would use FSX! What a fantastic amount of detail (a little FR heavy on my older PC , but not on most of you peoples slick PC's) and a real flight model to get your teeth into....I bit off the undercarriage on my first hop, make sure you check your airspeed VERY CAREFULLY before lowering it ;-)
I am currentlt awaiting a visit from the riggers and doing a post install de-frag to ease the FR's. Get this model, even if you do not normally fly US jets (there is an RAF paint job in the skins pack), this is total quality!

Absolutely astounding :o :o :o

The level of detail is incredible, particularly the VC - TrackIR is a must!!!!
Took her for a quick spin around Princess Julianna International (TNCM) in The Netherland Antilles (always one of my favourite places for just flying about).
Managed to get into a stall, but recovered for a fine landing (by my standards). Then spent 10 mins just looking around the VC.
I can see that I'm going to spend a lot of tome flying this.

Many, many thanks to Jan and the team.

Regards

Kevin

Lovely model. Excellent work.
Seems to work fine in FSX with a tweak or two. The alpha channel on the VC canopy textures needed darkening or you can't see out! I also put all the shared textures in a separate folder and added a texture.cfg to each livery.
Haven't checked out all the systems yet though.

It looks like I'm going to be frustrated this evening.

I've got the skins pack, I've got the manual, but not the base pack with the model. :@

At about 95% and after well over an hour Internet explorer shut down with a message that the download was timed out. :brick:

Would you all stay off AVSIM tomorrow evening please.

Have the Sabre but not as yet the skins, will be going for that tomorrow.

This a/c is brilliant, have flown it for about half an hour and thoroughly enjoyed it.

She simulates also hydraulic failures. I don't know why (yet) but at my second fly, the gear remained semi retracted (half the nose leg, half the right leg) and I did an emergency landing :o

Kikko, unless you retract your undercarriage before reaching 185kts IAS (easily done with a light load), your hydraulics will fail. To get the gear down, bounce it off the runway :o :o and it comes down locked! There may be an emergency air bottle method, but I have yet to find it!
