F-86 Sabre update

Post by Javis »

Hey guys,

We have finally reached 'Gold' status for our pet F-86E/F slatted wing Sabre hotrod, first descendant of our hopefully ongoing freeware F-86 Project. We have founded a name for our small dev team as well as a dedicated website and forum too. How about that, éh... ( forum open after release of the package ) The package can be downloaded from the usual places sometime next week.

Sabre aficionados can have a peek here http://www.sectionf8.com Non Sabre aficionados can have a peek too, maybe you could become one.. :)

This model is ment for FS9 only, a native, all singing and dancing FSX version will be available too eventually.

That is wonderful Jan, very much looking forward to this one. Having read some accounts by pilots' who flew her in Korea they had nothing but praise for it though, if flown badly, she was very unforgiving. :worried:

Many thanks for posting the update.

Regards
Nigel.

Don't make the same mistake you did with the Viscount manual, Peter! Invest all that time in learning it and end up flying something else

I have to agree with you, though. The Sabre looks like something special and worth reading up on!

Ian :)

After nearly two years of waiting...I can almost taste her now :$
She looks a fantastic project Jan, and (IMHO) will be the ULTIMATE freeware project for 2008, a fitting way to end the career of possibly the 'king of freeware' platform, dear old FS2004! :welldone: :welldone: :welldone:
