Thanks for the info. Yes, I did have all of those references; it is strange that these appear to be the only pics out there of the 72-73 cruise, I spent an age trying to find others. :dunno:

The more I think about it, the more logical it seems; the AA code on the fin is RN style, not USMC - everything points to a complete repaint.

Time has been rather tight, but I have made a start; should have some screenies by the weekend - priority this weekend was given to a bit of FSDS work.
