Hi Michael thanls for the offer..............

I have pilots notes for the RAAF 21, MK 31 and the RNZAF 31..

There are a few photos and drawings but it is a little lacking in enough detail to model the cockpit properly.

Ross has already filled a few gaps :)

I thought you would, but figured an offer refused is better than lack of information.

Wow, 1 minute to reply LOL.

Your welcome on the info, and anyway whats with forum chit chat, get on with the model :), l'm actually looking fwd to this one ever since my Airfix one mysteriously got lost during a house move when l was aged seven, does anyone know if you can still get that model ?, granted it'll be a retread version :) ( as my younger brother famously called them ), that and the SRN4 would be most welcome, apols for the OT, feeling nostalgic all of a sudden.

Best

Michael

Hi Michael

E bay is full of them..mainly the later 1992 issue and the reissue of that version. CAT and SABENA. CAT was the Silver City later livery with an anti dazzle panel.........which I don't thing the kit has so it's early CAT.

BUA can still be got and early Silver City at times but the decals are unusuable mostly by now.

Decals can be bought BUA blue and golden brown and Silver City...getting hard to find. BAF and Channel Air Bridge are avaliable as is MAC.

Hi Garry

Hows this fat baby of yours gestating? Nice to see you got some joy on the Southampton museum front, it was just too far from me to make a day trip of it. I will hopefully get there to research V2.0 of the Carvair.

What with the recent start of the football season my commitments to my club have overtaken my ALL my Flight Sim time over the last few months so its good to get back and see what's going on again, especially as despite any of my efforts my Club are bottom of the division, maybe I should stick to modelling and they'll fare a bit better.

I did have some old bgl files I did for a version of Lydd and Lympne for FS2K I'm gonna try and dust them off over the next few weeks and see if I can salvage anything worthwhile out of 'em.

Anyways best of luck with the Superfrightener. I hope we hear a release date before long.

HI John

A bit slow atm as it is at a stage where a lot of work shows little overall. Also I have PC problems with video card and or monitor. That is hopefully going to be resolved over the next couple of weeks.

The can be no release date set as I am still short of certain information an of course the time it takes to actually do the work.

The main area just now is work on the inside of the cockpit.
