There isn't a problem with MSFS, it works fine for everyone else, so it must be something in your set up. There is a Key for reverse Thrust, and to my knowledge has been for years, its F2.
Matey it has just occured to me... are you taking the stop locks off brfore you apply reverse thrust? You need to take the stops lock off otherwise the props wont go into reverse pitch, as inthe real thing, this is done to prevent reverse pitch being selected in mid air.
Rick / Fraser... just noticed something and I can't remeber if this is how it should be from beta testing all those years ago.... on the Andover the reverse pitch is fantastic... slows the aircraft to a stop in no time and will allow the throttles to open fully in reverse, in the package I downloaded for FSX, the reverse doesn't have anywhere near the same effect. I can't remember if this was true in the real aircraft or was it only on the Andover?
Mogget - can you try the same manouver in the Andover and see what happens?
Its in the new releases forum... http://www.cbfsim.org/cbfsim/cbfsBB/vie ... =13&t=7744
Just extract the zip to a temporary location, the copy the FSDS3 HS.780 folder with in extracted folders to your ...\Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes. Copy the full FSDS3 HS.780 folder to the airplanes folder. That should be it. Don't worry about the effects folder as you won't need it because you have the 748 already installed.
