FSX accel has SP2 included in it and as far as I can tell only gives you a couple of extra aircraft models and carrier ops ability, I do'nt think for one minute accel is to blame for texture problems you will get the same with SP2.
The problem with portovers I think is in the different way FSX reads the model alpha channels and the model materials, props being a prime example.
Really looking forward to your offerings, at 14 you have lots of time to learn.
I know nothing.

FSX will show black areas for areas untextured. In these FSX days, you knew what to expect: separate textures for each part displayed in the model.

Here's one

Mr Piper's FS9 Argosy looking lovely and in FSX a long way from home though. Just a bit of posing on the runway.
Just a bit of posing on the runway.
Re-starting the engines
Only issue it has in FSX is a long load time in the spinner and black textures until it all loads in. Then it's fine

times a'wasting ... we're waiting for
your model ... sure hope it'll be freeware like the gracious men of these parts have made them.
pick something challenging like Garry's Bristol... something that few people have knowledge of, few left these days have even seen,
with little or no physical evidence to make a model from...ETC ETC ETC ... ( thanks Dave B

)
see ya next year ....about this time.... good luck
..... then of course there will be all the emails about how things won't work (because they won't read the manual)
or it's crap , or how it should be this way or that way because "they" know better or more than you do
.... And then deal with people stealing it and selling your hard earned work.....
have fun!

Hi,
I'm new here and thought I might ask a very basic question. This forum and thread seemed appropriate.
I have been trying (desperately!

) to download Hunter Fighters and Trainers for FSX only. LeifH pointed me to this website from the BritSim website, as he said the file I was trying to download was large (about 65MB) and I might get it here. But, silly me, I couldn't find a download area.
Can some kind soul forgive my stupidity and point my nose to Hunters (Fighters and Trainers) for FSX?
Thanks so much.
Erich.
