That's how it's modelled mate. You get to see the nose gear turn when on the deck and as soon as weight is off the main gear.. the rudder will animate ;) I don't know if would make any difference but I don't have 'autorudder' enabled ;) k
:$  Didn't think about looking when up in the air. 8)

Edit : I've sent one of the lads to pop his head out the back door once we're airborne and have a look. He gave me the  as he fell out the door...

Cracking stuff, I'm really starting to like this bird. One other thing, is there a gauge showing the nose trim in VC anywhere?

Caution on using "Playback" in FSX as it was very broken at one stage...Use the Recorder Module for the same purpose as it works fine in FSX as well as FS9 :)

 what have I done.....
Dave I was hard on the rudder crabbing it in. and a little high and fast...... try that..... just have the chaps strap themselves in good and
hold on !!
:agree:

Peter,
You do make a good point... I'll have to replicate it before I can draw any further conclusions

Aaah, thanks a mille for this, Brian!

I'm going to enjoy flying this baby. I also just bought the big Airfix 1:72 kit of the Nimrod MR1/2/2P/R1 and this will no doubt help me get the details right.

Joe..

I've just spent an hour doing T&G's at Wake Island (10 in total) and have been darned brutal on occassion. Despite my efforts, the flaps have worked beautifully each time (I'm glad to say). I didn't try and use playback mind you.. this was simply an hour of thraping the old girls pants off.. changing views as necessary.

Rgr on the rudder Gordon ;) I like em modelled this way.. nowt worse than seeing the rudder move every time you turn on the deck

Trev..
Plenty of smoke mate. WinXP SP3 32-bit, FSX+Acc. I had a brief moment early in testing where smoke seemed a little fragile but that was some time ago.. around April *-)

butt naked is how they should be left.. extra goose bumps :worried: ;)

I understood you'd seen this 'live' so used replay to confirm it and filmed that with your digicam (which is what happened isn't it) ;)

While I can't offer any words of wisdom, I'm sure our readers are all aware of your comment and will be on the look out for the same. I'm not sure if Simshed's forums are up (they weren't last time I tried) but you can bet if someone else sees it, it will be duly flagged ;)
