Simshed Nimrod

Post by Brian Franklin »

I promised her out before Christmas and indeed the model is finished but the technical information hasn't all arrived for us to complete the manual. To that end I am releasing her today without a manual for those that want it. The manual will follow as soon as we can, apology's for that. Download from www.simshed.co.uk

The info that is missing is the operations guide for the Fight systems, ie Flight Director and Autopilot which is comnplex to say the least. Still it can be worked out without too much heartache. Autopilot master switch, F/D controller and away we go. Pretty much point and shoot, will autoland with Approach selected and the correct ILS dialled in. Just remember to engage the pitch & roll channels in the F/D control panel.

Well done Joe ;) As Brian said.. the FlightDirector isn't point and squirt and really needs the manual to get the best from it but by a process of elimination, anyone should be able to get the AP functioning enough to get them from A to B ;) Anyway.. most will spend a lot of time outside admiring how good they look
