Anybody remember Novair? They flew DC10-10's and B737-400's I think out of Manchester and Gatwick. They went bump in 1990 after only a couple of years.

Andy did a nice repaint of the DC10. Just one of those obscure airlines that came and went.

Hi Jetty....nice to see you around again

Novair was BCA Air Charter (British Caledonian Airways) renamed after it split or sold off.

They were an early user of the 737-400

Jetty

And for anyone else interested but not familiar

BCA Charter was renamed Cal Air....I forgot that bit

Then it became Novair

The DC 10's were ex Laker and were DC 10-10

So they ended up as BCA Air Charter

The other two were G-BJZD & 'E

The Boeing 737-400's were a re-equipment programme

Thanks Garry, bit of a cheap repaint that. Just change the name and replace the lion with a star. Still rather effective I thought.

Hi Rick

Just had a quick look at that.

Brilliant job on those titles..that .....putting lines and stars in lettering is one thing but getting them to fall right and look right is someone else

 :worried:

BTW I've not counted the windows
