Certainly! It's just not nice having to stand around in clothes that aren't waterproof.

Great shots Tweek. Today was my first visit to Bruntingthorpe and I had a great day despite the weather. I don’t think it every actually stop raining, but as Garry correctly points out seeing these classics roar off down a rain soaked runway only added to the already impressive spectacle.

The other advance of a rain soak runway was that it gave the Hunter the edge in the drag race against the BMW coupe. Thrust 1 – Tyre traction 0 (but it was close!!).

. . . . And then there was the Lightning. Holy Sh*t!!! , being so very close to a Lightning with reheat engaged is something I’ll never forget. I image that’s what an earth quake feels like, certainly my rib cage has only just about stopped rattling. Awesome. However for the sake of my ear drums I may leave it a while until I watch another Lightning fast taxi . . . . or perhaps just until the QRA open day on 22nd of July!!!

Very, very nice pics indeed Tweek. Garry and others summed it up nicely so I won't repeat it, but thanks for putting them up. Did they fast taxi the Canberra too, or just give her a gentle run around?
