Apologies if this has been posted before but with the state of the connection on Fantasy Island at the moment it'd be an exercise in frustration to search the forums for it;

Now that's certainly worth keeping in 'My Favourites' Folder.

Many thanks for that Richard.

Just spent a happy half hour reminiscing - cant believe the Airfix, Frog and Heller were that long ago - seems like yesterday I was walking out of Fletchers with the SRN1 in a bag :)

Thanks Richard

I like this one

http://content-delivery.co.uk/aviation/ ... lNavy.html

£1000 a year all found! According to an inflation calculator I found on line, thats the equivalent of £12,954.91 using the retail price index.

After browsing some of these ads I was wondering if there is still any Beagle 206 flying?
Always thought they were a good looking aircraft.

There may be some across the pond as they did have more success in the States especially after there were refitted, rewired etc as they were an engineering nightmare.

Shame as it was a nice looking aircraft

I have no idea on the status of any flying but here's a prod list

I liked the bit about "built in safety and economy" for the Lightning - what were they trying to sell? :lol: ...and who were they trying to kid?

Chris

I suppose it depends how you look at it :think:

If it intercepts and shoots down bombers that would be an economy of sorts as well as making the country safer :lol:
