Headley Court

Post by Hot_Charlie »

Some of you may be aware that the SSAFA are trying to purchase a £1.7m property near Headley Court hospital for visiting families (several at a time, hence the large house). The was covered in the Mail and Telegraph at least, but there is now a petition over at "Number 10"

http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/Headley/

Ooops, forgot to mention why a petition is needed - the rich nimbies don't want soldiers, sailors and airmens families in their neighbourhood (with a variety of excuses...)

Been following this on PPrune for a week or so. These people make my blood boil. I'd be extremely proud to support such a facility on my street.
