AFG Beech Kingair 300 released...

Post by CEO_AFG »

The Kingair is released!

Should be popping up at the major download sites as soon as the webmasters add the files. Initially there will be two liveries to choose from D-IBER and LX-SEA, more liveries and a paintkit to follow soon!

With the Kingair out of the way, work continues on getting the Caravelle out of the hangar :)

It looks good. I will see if I can get some Aeroworx B200 gauges in there.
Error 482: Somebody shot the server with a 12 gauge.

Gorgeous.

Thank you again for releasing an outstanding piece of work, I'm sure there will be many hours enjoying this one.

edit: Just had a short play (with settings turned down untill i get a new PSU) and Visually it's superb, the sounds are fantastic and the VC clarity and performance very good. A real winner, I'm very much looking forward to fitting my F1 PC12 avionics!

That looks very nice indeed!

Will have to find space in my "hanger" for that one!

Anyone else having a problem with the battery switching itself off for no reason and not being able to turn it back on? I may have missed something in the documentation, but it's the first time I've had problems with an airplane like that.

Hi Chris, I've not encountered that, but have had a problem with nosewheel steering after landing (this is reported on the AFG forum). Also, following the same landing (which did result in an overrun), I noticed a problem with the contact points between port and starboard main gear. In summary, the port gear appeared fine, but the starboard was up to the wheel rim in the concrete. Re-starting the sim cured this.

Other than that, a wonderful and exceptionally detailed aircraft. Many thanks to all involved.

Regards

Kevin

Hi Chris,

The battery switch has been already reported. Were you using the 2D or the VC panel? The battery and the generators switches on the VC are guarded by a partial cover that has to be lifted for the switches to be turned on. Would you have turned the cover down when perusing the VC? It is only possible to turn on the battery switch on the VC, that's why AFG says that the model is to be operated from the VC. :)

Hopes this helps you out
