BEA Keyline

Post by Captain Pugwash »

i could not help myself and started another. limited to the paint kit supplied. tried to paste on to C-47 but looked awful and had green bits poking through roof section. so as like the default DC3 have to stick with dc3 cargo version no passengers.

Hi CP

Nice start

I would have though they were the freight door type then

The Pionair convertion with the pax door was done by BEA I'm not sure exactly when.

thanks Leif for putting the picture's in the file list section. might i ask if possible for those of us that are computer challenged. the uploading of files to the pond include an section for the thumb picture as like avsim. to this date i did not know how i put the photo in for my first submittion :$ would the pond accept repaints of english reg aircraft of the DC3 ( possible next repaint has english reg but not located in the uk ) .

CP

The thumbnail problem you will have to address the chief amphibian when he resurfaces - Im just a humble servant - however that said any thumbs you have in the file when uploaded take me all of 10 seconds to add to the download section so dont worry
I can do the honors for you. As to the DC3 , its one of the very few NON British aircraft that appears in the Ponds library
due to its special place in British aviation history - The Aer Lingus ones are the same - We have most of John Ps DC3 repaints
so just keep on keeping on. And on behalf of the Happy Otter thank you for using the Pond.

The odd thing about that is Aer Lingus are as far from being British as Aeroflot.. they're just a bit closer. The insult works both ways too. Slightly political I agree but accurate nontheless ;-)

As an Irish Brit, Aer Lingus can quite safely be placed.... as (contorversially for some) Ireland (the Island of) is part of the British Isles. :worried:
