Tks Trev (and Dano) :) It'd be rude not to pop over and get it then ;-)

Been using it a lot recently over Cornwall and I have to say it's not my fave FD :-(

DB

have you used the freeware Melin from us, it flies lke a dream as far as FD are concerned, tested by team melin themselves, and placed on their website as their FS aircraft of choice :welldone:

You know DC.. I have that version too somewhere. Think I removed it when I bought the Alpha model so as to stop any confusion (I'm easily confused) Will go and download it again as I use a different pc now :) Tks for that ;-)

Dave,

Check your cfg l think you might be running the old FDE, V1.9 is the new one built to Apache format and should be much better ?.

Theres a link at AS for the new files or l can ost here or send direct to you.

Best

Dave,

Your welcome, though l must warn people that the alphasim linked V1.9s from my FTP are 'pre' Danos FSx upgrade so watch out for text changes and his new camera views etc.

I think my V1.9 got to headquarters before Dano did his work ( though it was a matter of days ) so hopefully the new FSx version should have a half decent FSx FDE.

Hopefully these new FDes will 'feel' better, if not feel free to disect and post.

Best

Michael

Hi Michael,

Yes.. it does feel better ;-) Wish I'd have known about the text changes though. I now only have one variation of HC3 :o  No prob though.. I'll dig the necessary bits out of the original zip

EDIT:.. Btw Michael, since having a shot of the HM1 as my desktop, I realise that neither you or the UKMIL team have the (ECM?) extension on the tail..

I presume this must be a new addition

Ahh yes, those are the FS9 versions only and the masters, others have added all sorts of liveries and text changes to the cfg, l cant keep up with all the repaints that people have so only offer the root master files.

Although there FS9 only it should still fly much better in FSx, most FSx helos tend to fly pretty much the same...crap  .

Best

Michael
