FSX and the VC panel fix

Post by TSR2 »

I've hunted for this as I know its been answered before, but can't find it.

On some older aircraft with VC's the view becomes leterbox shape with a black rectangle across the bottom of the screen. As I recall the fix is to add (or modify) something in the panel.cfg.

Can anyone rmind me what it is? :dunno:

Cheers,
Ben.:tunes:

at work at the moment so can't be 100% sure, but at the bottom of the panel.cfg should be a line like

x=1234
y=4321

what I've been doing is copying and pasting these values from a panel I already know works in FSX, and that seems to have done the trick for me.

Remove or edit out any lines that read:

render_3d_window=1

or change it to =0
