Hi Steve,
Dunno where you got that download from as my name shouldn't be on it (only in passing and well after Frasers)
As I've not flown it since our VA server has been down and my memory is notoriously brittle, all I can say at this point is that I've not experienced a problem with the radios and/or AP mate. Fraser may come up and illuminate you but in the meantime.. I'll have another look as soon as I can (I'm loafing off work at the mo) ;-)
Oh.. and a warm welcome to the forum

Re: VICKERS VANGAURD AUTO-PILOT////HELP!!!!
Hi Steve
I've just had a dig in my aircraft.cfg and this is what I have..
[Radios]
// Radio Type=available, standby frequency, has glide slope
Audio.1=1
Com.1=1, 0
Com.2=1, 0
Nav.1=1, 0, 1
Nav.2=1, 0, 1
Adf.1=1
Transponder.1=1
Marker.1=1
As you can see, there are 2 Com entries indicating =1.. available with no standby. I've not added Adf.2=1 as I never use it but if you add that under Adf.1=1, it should work fine for you. Having just scrolled down and seen you have done that already.. I'm at a bit of a loss. Will have to go back to see what you mean about the AP. You are aware of the AP Master control on the radio panel?? Also, there are control switches on the radio panel to select ADF/VOR.. these being duplicates of the 2 Dowty 4xblind gauges on the 2D panel.
EDIT..
Right.. I've just added the ADF2 for the hell of it and it works fine. Re the AP and the yellow light remaining on.. it will remain on unless you hit the green engage button (the yellow lamp means the AP is available/ready.. NOT engaged). The 3 channel switches are on by default.. airspeed hold is indicated but not available (the Vanguard didn't have airspeed hold) but.. this switch in effect engages Height Lock (when clicked down) and disengages it (when clicked up to airspeed hold). I tuned Com 1 to ATIS and it blurted out loud and clear. Likewise, I tuned ATIS on to Com 2 and hit the tiny switch in between the two freq select controls and that too blurted out loud and clear.
Sorry Steve but I can't see what the radio prob is but the good news is, I now have a functional ADF 2!

Re: VICKERS VANGAURD AUTO-PILOT////HELP!!!!
If the amber light is lit on the A/P, press the blue (?) engage button & it should work.
The amber light means it is ready to engage.
Apologies if you already got past that point & I'm stating the bleedin' obvious.
If it doesn't engage with the button, then it sounds broken.

Re: VICKERS VANGAURD AUTO-PILOT////HELP!!!!
I deliberately left off answering this as I knew you would be along and be able to give a far better answer than I
Two reasons really :think:
Firstly you are familiar with the real aircraft and were involved in the testing etc of the panel. and have a better general knowledge of these things. ;-)
And secondly...I didin't have a Bl@@dy clue

Corrosion.hmmmmmmmmm :think:
Always a problem with being outside....but look at the bright side.....at least the main airframe won't rust :roll: :doho: .
Is it really that long since you ran her up??.......doesn't time fly whe you're having a MLC
I suppose keeping her running as much as possible with evrything you can up and live will be a farily good way of helping to minimise it.
Best if luck
