BOAC Super VC10 London to Sydney

Post by paul26may »

Just completed the first leg, Heathrow to Frankfurt. Uneventful but nice and smooth. Weather fine for an October morning in 1968. Just one hitch, the ILS took me to 7R instead of 7L. ATC didn't seem to mind however, but why did that happen?

Are you using somebody elses AFCAD for the scenery....? Maybe the wrong frequency in your radios?

Good - so only another five sectors and 8,900nm to go then ;-)
Good luck - and mind that tail trim and the Altitude Hold!!
