Hi Paul,

What exactly does the 'Acceleration' bit mean as nothing in that blurb mentions anything about physically 'accelerating' the sim

It's nothing to do with accelerating the sim, it's "acceleration" as in "go faster than ever before" with the F/A-18 and the reno air races bit in the P-51. The product name, if you like.

£19.99 with free delivery:
http://shop.gameplay.co.uk/webstore/pro ... nsion_pack

Also if you pay an extra 99p for delivery then it usually arrives on your doorstep at launch day, it's dispatched before the game is actually launched. (Barring postal strikes and Royal Fail of course).

Given what some payware developers charge if the Merlin, Hornet and Mustang are as detailed as the default FSX aircraft then it's worth it for the three aircraft alone, I've no doubt I'll pick it up when it's released just to see if the SP2 fixes make it playable to be honest.

Well, I can't bring myself to make the switch to FSX full time just yet as no matter how much I tweak performance isn't what it should be no matter how much PC horsepower you throw at it, so if it gets my seal of approval it'll be bloody good indeed. :yipeee:

I can't begrudge them £20 for an expansion that I know I'll get a lot of mileage out of in the future, I've just paid £15 for a Blenheim that I won't even fly that much so it's all relative.
