Indeed, poor little aeroplane, and the chap is lucky to be alive, but I must admit once I found out everyone was safe and sound the picture did raise a smile.... it may just be the camera angle but the fact that it appears to be the only tree for quite some distance cracks me up. In fact if it wasn't so detrimental to the poor tree I would suggest wiring the aircraft in position as a piece of modern art and a monument to blind luck. :flying:

indeed , it's it always that way
all the grass around to try and make the landing
and he finds the tree.
I've seen this alot on the road as well
car hits a pole , there is nothng around for a quarter mile yet,
they manage to hit the pole
the skid marks show a dead center hit :doho:
