Lovely pics, thanks for sharing. The burgundy and black MG is gorgeous! I must be getting old, I have owned a couple of those car models - Spit Mk3, MGB GT x 2 chrome bumber/wire wheel models. I also had a Dolomite 1500HL which was a Sprint lookalike apart from the wheels.

Some classic British motors in amongst here
..and some not so British
I was there Thursday till Sunday night, Hall 2 next to the Dream Rides, we got loads of interest. I'm nursing a few blisters on the feet, and a sore throat from all the talking.
I liked the DB5 on the insurance company stand and watching the restoration guy's doing the metal forming. A couple of things the public don't see, we found out that anything that wasn't nailed down was 'lifted', Japanese fans, parasols etc, even my Autoglym show spray and polishing cloth, and the boot my car being used as a litter bin :@
Just trying to get the enthusiasm to go and polish off the kids fingerprints :o
But on the minus side one new scratch :'(

Wonderful photos Toby, thanks for showing though I'm a bit surprised nothing seen of a Jaguar e-type, were there any there?

Regards Nigel.

Jonesy2k : there was the most fascinating P6 there - the 2000 prototype from 1962 - if I knew how to post pics I'd put it up for you

Nigel : there was a most beautiful original E type 4.2 FHC in red on the Jaguar Drivers' Club stand ; pics ditto
