Been playing with a new AI toy available from SimOuthouse.







Tool is AIFormation V2 by Jerry Beckwith, aircraft is Ricks Hawk beta.

Think its time you got that system of yours rebuilt Trev so you can use FSX again. ;-)

Glad to see that the framerate is still fine with 4 Hawks.

No worries there Rick, I've had 5 Hawks (4 AI + me) in formation and was still getting 60fps+ with the frame lock off

It's AIFormation_v2.zip
As far as I know it's only available via the FSX forum at SimOuthouse.

Thanks Dave I'm going to give it a whirl, I assume it's how that schimitar vid was done over at AS
with the 4 of them taking off at once and in flight.

It works a treat, wish it was for FS9 as well though, 4 vixens in flight and I'm a slide show as usual
at 8fps but it was fun to fly around with them.

All my FSX does is freeze all the time and I have to reset the puter so do don't get in it much.
