FS Recorder

Hi Gents....

just had my first play with FS Recorder!!!

what an awesome tool.....
i haven't sussed it totally yet, as i want to have more than two a/c in my formation.....
but here are a couple of shots so far......
any tips most welcome, cheers

i am really excited about this, it is making my formation flying better....i need it....

Hello Sam,

excuse me for being a bit dim, but what exactly does FS Recorder do? Some kind of in-game camera app? I haven't heard of that one. Nice formation shots though.

Hi mate

basically, you fly a sortie or what ever...........using recorder to copy it......
then you save it, after that, you replay the fottage, any time or day, but obviously from the same airport. and you can fly another plane next to the mission or flight you have just done, i have done this, and have got 6 T6 texans flying in a mess,,,great fun playing chase etc.....

i have found though that i cant do it with helos!







in the T6 picture there are seven a/c and the hunter one has 2 a/c in front of this pack....

You can do it with Helis.....you just have to rename them AI in your config...i'll post a link for some help.....

That is flipping genius mate, will have to get that installed ASAP- I could have a lot of fun with that one. Again, lovely shots, let's see you do the Red Arrows next Tricky...

**EDIT, just got it installed and running and I love it. Makes the game a lot more fun, easy for dimbos like me to get traffic in and set up screenshots. Now perhaps I can get the entire Argentine Grupo 2 de Bombardeo lined up at Parana...very cool for painters like me! Thanks for posting that one Sam.

i have tried the readme for getting helo's to work, but to no avail, it could be because im using an alphasim helo...not sure..

all i will say is, i have so much respect for people who can fly in formation in this game, bugger it's hard, but im getting better...lol







one problem i am having is this... i have recorded a few flights, some i replay are fine, others, when i replay say 2 for example, only one shows up.
i was gonna have 3 jp's in formation, but only one replay shows....
does anyone have any clues?

When you click on play you have to select however many you want to see.....

Highlight 3 of the files and then click play.....

I'll check to see about the alphasim helis and let you know.....
