Victor in need of some TLC!!!

Surely the next Airframe in line for a repaint at Duxford is their Victor......

As you can see, the green has turned a yukki brown! and markings are faded. Here's what it used to look like (and hopefully will again).....

Though whether there's room in the hangar to keep it 'pristine', once painted, is another matter.

You'll be pleased to know the Victor is inside right now, along with the Shackleton. Due for restoration, or repaint, or both, I'm unsure.

I was at Duxford just after Christmas, and yes, both the Victor and Shackleton are now inside the Airspace restoration area, though whether that's in readiness for conservation work or just a temporary move, I don't know. From what I've read and heard recently, the Victor isn't in as bad a condition as she appears to be from the outside.
