I've managed to download a number of a/c but a not able to display the a/c to fly them!
It may be because I'm not winzipping properly ? I extract them into a new folder, then can't get them into Fs9. Where, anything other than being stupid, am I going wrong ?

Re: downloads
Hi Ben I'm using Fs2004 on windows XP with a 2.7 g processor (at the moment). I,ve managed to get the Jaguar but without instruments (which makes landing nearly as hairy as the real thing).

Re: downloads
The jag isn't one of ours, so not sure how the install goes with that one. As a general rule there are up to 3 folders. One contains the aircraft, the other 2 (if they exists) will possibly be one for gauges and one for effects.
The other thing you must not do is unzip any files that have the extension .cab. These will automaticly be uncompressed by the sim. I suspect this may be what you've done becuase the config files for the aircraft will be looking for *.cab and it won't exist as you may have unzipped it.
Hope that makes sense. I'd take some screenies for you, but I'm running FSX on Vista, so would look different. Are you new to FS2004?
Cheers

Hello Pontius and welcome
As to the ones not showing at all....check that after unzipping there is not a folder within a folder.
