Another reason to visit East Kirkby . . .

. . . as if I needed another reason to go and visit my favourite aviation museum. :roll:
D-Day veteran, C-47 N5831B ‘Drag-‘em-oot’ will be wintering at East Kirkby this year.
I hadn’t released it would be possible for an aircraft of this size to make use of East Kirkby’s grass airstrip. :o
I’m not sure of the exact details of what brought this about, but what a coup! Well done to all those involved.
