HU Ford Airfield about to be published

Post by hobby »

I have just uploaded the FS9 scenery zip 'Ford Airfield 23rd Nov 2008 Edition' to Nazca Steve's and Classic British Files websites. They should be available only from these two websites shortly.

Users should be aware that to see the full scenery they will need to download a number of EZScenery library files which are available from avsim.com or flightsim.com.

Hello all,

to confirm Hobby's post, the link is now active on my Sea Hawk site: http://nazcastudios.com/sea-hawk/. Happy flying, as I can confirm the base looks superb.

I agree about this being great news. Perhaps I could post the graphics versions of A/C type, units and dates tables up here.

I can upload by ftp to my own web site and either post links (it will be to an otherwise invisible area) or embed the link in image tags so that they are seen here. What image sizes are favoured here, physical and file size and how many per post? There are four tables of various sizes.

Let me know folks.

Now how about hops from Ford to Lee-on-Solent?

Has anybody done a scenery setup for Lee?

It would be interesting to see if I can put the Vixen down there. As I got a Hunter in a Vixen should be a tad easier using that classic aerodynamic braking that I watched so often at VL and which I have been practicing. It helps with the stuck on nose wheel steering providing one ensures the rudder is central as one drops the nose else mayhem ensues. Wheels don't tend to rotate when smacked down sideways!

Lee-on-Solent, there's a few versions to choose from;can be found in.....

Gary Summons' (Payware) in one of the UK2000 scenery packs,
David Glaisters' 'World of Wight' scenery (freeware) at Avsim
Ian Elliott's, at Sim-Outhouse (you'll need to be registered there) ----> http://www.sim-outhouse.com/index.php?l ... ileID=2880

and

IIRC also featured in the ukvfr autogen project package (sadly that site is now defunct,but d/llink still works
----> http://www.vfraddons.co.uk/ukautogen_view.php)

should keep you busy for a while
