Hi Mate

No worries as it was quick. (Brain Cancer) :-(

Really want to keep the car but my Micra is so cheap to run and practical i would be an idiot so get rid of it currently.

Dad spent a fortune on the little MX5 and it's a really nice drive but i can't have 2 cars sadly.

Looking on Ebay etc we priced it low as 3.5k is for 90,000 miles examples and this one has only done 85 miles in the last year (40 of those are me!)

we are basically broke after all the solicitors fees etc after sorting out Dad's affairs.

so it has to go and will make a lovely ride for someone

Regards
Rick

Nuts, if this would have been up for a sale a few months back I would have snapped it up. We were just given £2,500 from the insurance company after my girlfriends Saxo was written off. :-(

I'm terribly sorry for your loss by the way Rick, and I'm sorry to hear about having so much trouble with solicitors and suchlike. I can only imagine that this is the last thing one needs after the death of a loved one.

Hi Rick.
My condolances on the loss of your father, the car looks great, but unfortunately i cannot justify two cars, but an mx5 mk1 1.8,is a very good buy for someone,i had a mk1 for 9 yrs, never let me down once,i now have a mk3,and it is no where near as good to drive as the mk1 was.
regards alan.

Rick

So sorry to hear of your loss, it is very heartbreaking to hear that you are having to sell it under these circumstances.

I just hope that a buyer comes along soon so that you are able to move on without too much worry.

Kind regards
Nigel.

Rick,

My condolences to you and your family.

Have you considered advertising on the MX5 owners club website forum? The forum says advertising is for MX5OC members only, but the FAQ says that non members can advertise for a small fee. I don't know how much, but it may be worth paying a small fee if it exposes the car to a specific MX5 audience.

Good luck, and I hope you get a fair price for it.
Charlie

Just back in from a meeting in Doncaster.

Sincere condolences Rick, and I hope you soon find an appreciative buyer.
