H U Twin Pioneer plus more British Classics
The January 2009(!!!!!) "Aeroplane" has a long series of articles on the Twin Pioneer in the 'Database' series. In Feb. 2009 the Database will be the Sunderland and will also contain an article on deliberately flying an HS748 into and out of a ploughed field at Martlesham Heath in 1962.

Thanks for the HU Hobby
That 748 test was also done with the Herald which was also proposed in a rear loading version
Sir Fred had upset the Government by not joining a group so even though the RAF prefered the Herald it was the 748 version that won
