Re the two Rapide simultaneous start.......
The really wanted to to a V bomber scramble..........but with things like red tape H&S etc as well as in years gone by the reluctance of the MoD to sell cilvilians sqaudrons of active V.bombers............that was the closest they could manage :roll:

Sounds to be interesting though just the thought of standing around on an airfield at night in -0C does not appeal to me, did that too many times when in the RAF!!

They really wanted to to a V bomber scramble..........
Well.. they could leave all the outside lights off then get the Rapides to start one after t'other.. 1, 2, 1, 2 and the result would be similar though I reckon it'd still be slower than using quickstart on a Vulcan
