Hi Dave

Re the two Rapide simultaneous start.......

The really wanted to to a V bomber scramble..........but with things like red tape H&S etc as well as in years gone by the reluctance of the MoD to sell cilvilians sqaudrons of active V.bombers............that was the closest they could manage

Sounds to be interesting though just the thought of standing around on an airfield at night in -0C does not appeal to me, did that too many times when in the RAF!!

Must be getting to be a wimp!!

Regards
Nigel.

Well.. they could leave all the outside lights off then get the Rapides to start one after t'other.. 1, 2, 1, 2 and the result would be similar though I reckon it'd still be slower than using quickstart on a Vulcan
